Stuart and Leslie are long-time residents of Chattanooga, deeply connected and well respected in their neighborhood. With their robust network, they knew they could easily sell their beautifully restored historic home on their own (For Sale By Owner).
There wasn't any question the house would sell. The reason Stuart and Leslie decided to work with us in spite of that is that they knew we had the resources and strategies to sell their home for a record-breaking price.
Moving can be a pain. But there are ways you can make moving easy. If you’re moving to Chattanooga from out of town – or even just from one neighborhood to another – it helps to have a plan. The easier you make your move, the more you’ll enjoy your new home, and the sooner you’ll get to relax.
Here are 8 tips what will help make moving easy:
1. Find free moving boxes
For the really big boxes, check out furniture stores at least a week in advance. You can get smaller boxes (books are heavy!) outside most liquor stores, and many small stores have empty medium-sized boxes.
You’re doing the store a favor by taking them, so they’ll be happy to give you as many as you want. Why pay when you can get boxes for free?
